You have the right to make motion
You have the right to run officer as state representive of your state or Country if you don’t resident in america once requirement is met but no right to run for Local officer
You have the right to vote and/or run for king and Queen
You have the right to ride in the parade once establish

To have voice and voting power membership must be up to date on member dues, failure to do so will forfeiture your position of Deaf Mystics exception of Royals will have a free member renewal that don’t have to pay dues under the condition of purchase of a crown for the next Royal winners.Any Royals that not willing to purchase new crowns for the next elected Royal winner will owe Deaf Mystics Member Dues. Failure to do either willl be termination of membership. 1 free renewal per elected Royal, It is not lifetime free renewal.(motion passed on March 16,2024)

Deaf Mystics Officers Guidelines

Rule and Requirment to run for Officer are as follow

Terms is 4 years only for the first 4 years of formation then after starting 2026 the terms is 2 years

Royal crowns

Have the power to vote on the board as a Tie Breaker for 1 year til the next Royal is elected. They will over see the board that no favorism is being played.You must be a member to keep your crown. Dues renewal is wavied “If” you want to purchase a crown for the next elected Royal. Failure to do one or the other is a termination to your crown as well as termination of membership.

President

Must be Local, Must be a Member for 4 years. Must have leadership Training.Must be 21 or older Must be Deaf or DeafBlind.

Vice President

Must be Local, Must be a Member for 4 years.Must have leadership Taining. Must be 21 or older. Must be Deaf

Secretary

Must be Local , Must be a Member for 2 years, Must be organize and be able to keep track of information of all meeting and Must have their own device to be able to complete the job that is required. must be 21 or older Must be Deaf or DeafBlind

Treasurer

Must be local.Must be a member for 4 years. Must have a Clean background Check with no criminal history of theft of any kind.Must know how to do Math and know how to Budget a report. Must be 21 or older. Must be Deaf or DeafBlind

Social Director

Must be local.Must be a Member for 2 years.Must be creative with making events, Create Flyers and is organize. You will have chair committee to help with your event idea. You have the power to pick your chair committee. you can pick up to 5 chair committee. The chair committee you have chosen will be the same committe through out 4 years term unless said Chair Committe resign or removed from committe for volating the rules of Deaf Mystics of the Galaxies. Removal of a Committe must have a board vote.Must be 21 or older.Must be Deaf or DeafBind

Ball Director

Must be local.Must be a Member of 4 years, Must be organized and Must know the Rules and Regulation of hosting a Ball and know the local,State and federal law on Hosting a Ball. Ball Director will have 5 chair committee and the Ball director have the power to chose 5 chairs Committe and the 5 will be the same one use through out the term unless one resigned or being remove for volating Deaf Mystics of the Galaxies Rules. the removal must be voted by the board.Must be 21 or older. Must be Deaf or DeafBlind .

Parade Director

Must be Local.Must be a Member for 4 years. Must know all rule and Regulation for parading. Must update and inform State Representive on any update needed related to parading.Must be organized. Have the power to choose 5 chair committee to help with setting up the parade. the same 5 will be use for the whole term unless a committee resign or removed. for volating Deaf Mystics of the Galaxies Rules. removal must be voted by the board. Must be 21 or older. Must be Deaf or DeafBlind

State representive

Must be a Member of your (State) Association of the deaf. Must be a Member of Deaf Mystics. Must keep up to date with the Parade Director on progress with the Floating making sure it follow rule and regulation of parading. (State) Association of the Deaf have the power to add any additional requirment Must be met before able to run for representive. The vote is up to (state) Association of the Deaf. (State) association of the Deaf will hold a vote on who will represent the state. only member of both State and Deaf Mystics will be able to ride the Float. additional rule may applied from the state on who can and who can’t ride the float of the state. Chair Committe is up to the state decide how that will operate.
